Passed away peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Francis Hearty (2009). Loving mother of Patrick (Lisette), Margaret Ann (Joseph Wilcox), Veronica (David Mullen), Tim (Dorothy), Frank Jr. (Joanne). Adored grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Dear sister of Helen McKee. She will be missed by her sister- in-law Hannah Poirier and daughter-in-law Sharon. Predeceased by her son Edward and siblings Earl, Harry, Bartley, Stanley, Teresa, Peter, Marie and Rose. Margaret was a long time member of the Catholic Women's League. Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Vinton, Quebec on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 1p.m. Interment parish cemetery. Donations to the Friends of St. Joseph Manor, 24 Reid Street, Campbell's Bay, Quebec, J0X 1K0 or St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church Renovation Fund would be appreciated.
