I was saddened to hear of Aunt Margaret's passing and sorry that Glenn and I were unable to attend the funeral. Aunt Margaret and Uncle Frank were two of the first of my Mousseau family to meet my husband Glenn when we ventured to the Ottawa Valley 24 summers ago to visit. We got back up there a few times afterwards but that was one of the best and most memorable times that we enjoyed in the valley. Thinking of all my Hearty cousins at this sad time and remembering all the happy ones.

My sympathies to all the family. What a great lady! She was also so good to me when I spent a lot of spent time at the Hearty household during my high school years. The last thing she needed to deal with was another teenager but she always make me feel as welcome as the flowers in May. She truly was like a second Mother to me. Rest in peace, dear lady.

Margaret & her husband & family lived in Wrightville, QC., in the late 1950's- early 60's. That's where I first met MARGARET, through her sister Rose, who was my friend. Many years later I would encounter her at church in Vinton. She always was willing to share ancestry information or refer me to her sister-in-law, Hannah Hearty Poitier, who was always accomadating, as well. Margaret had a keen memory and an admirable ability to "spin an engaging yarn" or two. Praise to a life well lived! May you rest in eternal peace, MARGARET. Merrill & I express our sincere sympathy to all her family.

Brad and I extend our sincere condolences to the family. We are saddened to be unable to join with family to say a proper goodbye. We will cherish our happy memories of visits with Aunt Margaret over the years. We were always sure to hear some interesting stories, have some good laughs, and enjoy a cold beer! Haha. We last visited in August 2012. We enjoyed a couple hours of catching up, sharing stories and, of course, laughing. I will always remember her lovely smile and big wave goodbye as we drove away. Love to all of you. We're keeping you in our thoughts. xo

Pat, Margaret-Ann, Veronica, Tim, Frank and families. Deepest Sympathy on the loss of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I got to know Margaret very well these past 8 years I worked at St. Joseph's Manor we shared alot of laughs and I learned alot of cleaning tricks from her she was always willing to help and listen. She was the first one I checked on in the morning and was always greeted with a smile. I will miss her very much. She is now free to do whatever she wants without pain or her walker or wheelchair.
