Nécrologie de David Thomas Hunter

Dave passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in hospital, Shawville, Quebec at the age of 85.  Dave leaves behind the love of his life for 61 years, his wife, Joan-Marie (nee Belanger).  Much loved Dad to Davey, Nancy (Stephen) and Derek.  Adored Papa to Joshua, Andrew, Scott, Devon, Miguel and Kalaya.  Dave was a cherished Uncle, Brother-in-law and friend to so many.

We will miss that sarcastic wit, sense of humour and charming smile - You got away with a lot, with that smile! Everyone will miss your beautiful voice - as you said, "if it ain't Country, it ain't music."

Your parents will be waiting for you with open arms; our wee Josh will need to give his Papa a big hug.  You can now have a big sing song up there with everyone - sing your heart out Daddy "Will the Circle be unbroken, by and by Lord, by and by. There's a better home a-waiting, in the sky Lord, in the sky." When we close our eyes, we will hear you. Rest easy, Dave/Daddy/Papa, we will love you forever and miss you for always.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date - late Spring / early Summer 2022.
