Nécrologie de Laura Martha Prior (nee Wiggins)

Peacefully in her bed at Granite Ridge Community Care Centre in Stittsville, Ontario on Monday October 8, 2018 at the age of 93 years..

Laura was born on March 1, 1925 in Quyon, Quebec. Daughter of the late Arthur Wiggins and the late Stella (Lonsdale).  Married for 68 years to Blair Prior and loving mother to Susan (Muehlherr) and son- in- law Peter.  Predeceased by her husband Blair, son William (Sheena) and daughter Mary (Fred).  Wonderful grandmother of Cynthia (Woods), Sarah (Albrecht), Rachel (Hobbs), Rob (Hobbs), Cole (Prior), Carolan (Prior) and Michael (Muehlherr).  Proud great-granny of Alex, Julia, Abigail, Amber, Liam and River.  She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Laura’s family will be celebrating her life with a memorial service at Hayes Funeral Home, 1040 Clarendon Street, Quyon, Quebec at 11:00 AM on Friday October 19, 2018.  A reception will take place afterwards at Gavan's Hotel, Quyon, Quebec.  In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the Heart and Stroke or the Alzheimer’s Society.
