Aunt Annie, I hope you know just how special you were to both my dad and all of us. We don’t get to choose our family, but my dad chose you, he chose you to be the mom figure in his life, he chose you to love, to respect and to share his family time with. Growing up, spending time at the farm are cherished memories, happy times with my dad, that I will never forget. You were always there for him, right up until the end. I always felt guilty that I wasn’t there with him the night he passed, but only recently did I come to understand, I was exactly where dad wanted me to be that night (with you). It was his way of protecting both of us, we were where he wanted us to be that night (at the farm). When you arrive at heavens gate, please know that we miss you all in heaven, but we will continue to treasure our memories, until we meet again, Rest In Peace, Love Always.

This is extremely difficult to write....Annie was so much more than a neighbour....she was a dear friend. So many memories come to mind, happy times together...she hosted a Bridal shower for me before Bill & I were married, and the friendship with she & Versel and the girls just grew stronger with every passing year. She & Versel went above and beyond with love and support for Bill & Tammie & Greg & myself when Marty passed, as were Heather & Lynn and their spouses and children. We will miss you so much Annie, but treasure and cherish all the wonderful memories you left with us. Our condolences and sympathy to all of Annie's family in their loss.
