Peacefully in Carlingview Manor, Ottawa, Ontario on October 29, 2017 at the age of 87 years.  Wife of the late Simon Mayhew.  Loving mother of Barry (Joanne), Wanda, Verna (Elden), Edith (André), Keith (Kerry), David, Myles (Darlene), Karen (André) and Malcolm and predeceased by Silas and Matthew.  Survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Jean and Gilbert and predeceased by Vera and Margaret.  Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, November 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Monday, November 6 in St. James Anglican Church, Otter Lake, Quebec at 11 a.m.  Interment Union Cemetery.  Donations to St. James Church or the Diabetes Society would be appreciated.
