Dear Raymond and Family,
We were truly saddened to learn of Iona's passing.
She was a lovely lady and admired by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Very sorry that we cannot attend the wake and funeral service with you but Phil's eldest sister is in last hours as well, so we have to stay close to home.
We will see you (with a hug) the next time we are in Sheen.

Raymond I am so sorry for your loss. Please know my thoughts are with you and your family.
I am so glad I stopped to chat with you and Iona at the mall a few months ago. I wasn't sure you would recognize me but Iona certainly did. We hadn't seen each other in awhile.
When I think back on my childhood I remember with fondness dad taking us to Sheeboro to visit you. We were quite young but it's a childhood memory I cherish.
I am so sorry but I will not be able to attend the wake or funeral as I have some municipal commitments that I must attend. Know I am thinking and praying for you at this difficult time.
