Suddenly on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Florence Emmerson. Father of Tracey, Amanda (Claude Poulin), Derrick, Kelly and Jeremy (Mags Thibault). Grandfather of Tanya, Charles, Claude, Alex, Melissa, Jessica, Amanda, Emma, Jacob,  and Baylee. Alain will be dearly missed by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and extended family. Predeceased by parents Leo & Violet Belair as well as many sisters and brothers. There will be no visitation. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Shawville at 11:00 a.m. Interment Village Cemetery. Donations to Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
