Nécrologie de Yvonne Taylor (nee Smallshaw)

Yvonne Taylor passed away May 3, 2017 in the Long-Term Centre in Shawville, Quebec. Yvonne is predeceased by her husband Ross. She was the daughter of John and Evelyn Smallshaw. Yvonne is survived by her six children Patricia, Michael, William (Liette Thibodeau), Ann (Brent Plouffe), Jennifer (Robert Thompson) and Laurie and nine grandchildren, Chelsea, Jillian and Jordan; Karen (Philip Mountford), Vicki and Suzan; Adrienne (Cory Wilson); Kim (Chuck Regnier) and Karyn Pascoe; and six great-grandchildren: Mila, James, Caitlin, Trevor, Emma and Ben. Yvonne was a Registered Nurse and worked at a private doctor’s office, Lachine General and Montreal General Hospitals. She enjoyed camping, downhill skiing, golfing and travelling the world. She spent time reading and doing handicrafts. Many of her handicraft items were exhibited at the Shawville Fair and she won overall in the handicraft section one year.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to W.J. Hayes Funeral Home, Shawville, Quebec. There is no visitation. A private family gathering will take place at a later date to celebrate Yvonne’s life.
