Dear, dear Frances, what a legacy you leave behind. You shared your life stories with us, both good and bad, and were so feisty, a joy to have around. You never forgot our Lord, reading his word daily, and sharing your knowledge. I'll always remember when I asked you why you were reading the Bible from the beginning again, and you looked at me and said,"why not?? There's nothing wrong with reading the word of God, plus I always find new things in there". I felt sheepish that I had never even read the Bible once and have decided to start reading it, now that I have one in easier to read print. I also will always remember that Francis with an "I" is for a man, yours is with an "E". I held your hands many times, tucked you into bed, always kissed your forehead before I would go home, but the moment I will remember forever will be sitting with your family, holding your hand, singing a hymn, then all of us saying the Lord's Prayer. What a beautiful send off that was.You will be missed, especially your smile, but I'm sure you've lit up Heaven with it.
Love
Christine
