I was sad to learn that our dear Anna has passed away. Anna spent almost 25 years with the l'Arche Ottawa community, coming in 1975 when it was call Alleluia House. Anna was full of spunk, a hard worker and a dedicated lover of animals. She especially loved her rabbits. They gave her so much pleasure and truly showed her gentle caring side. She was proud to show how well she took care of them. As she moved on from l'Arche, the memories of the times spent being welcomed in her apartment to share a good meal, that she prepared with pride are burned in my mind. She had such a good friend in Audrey as the helped each other to create a true home on Piccadilly. I extend my condolences to Anna's family and the dear friends and those who supported her, who she had an impact in so many ways over the years. May you continue to be a Blessing for all of those you have touched on your journey. Thank you Anna Gordon!
