Nécrologie de John Musgrove

John Raymond Musgrove, born February 4, 1938, peacefully left us on April 26, 2016. He is survived by his devoted wife Marion (nee Horner) of 54 years. He will be sorely missed by his children, Geoffrey (Deliska) of Brockville, Elizabeth (Kevin) of Stittsville, Darin (Brenda) of Bryson and Sarah of Gatineau. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. John was a member of the Shawville Lions Club for over forty years and dedicated his life to helping those less fortunate than himself. One of his greatest moments was receiving the prestigious International President's Award, the second highest award that Lion's International gives to members for their lifelong dedication of his time and commitment to his community. His memory will live on by those who knew his sense of humor, his love of golf (and his hole in one at the Renfrew Golf Club!!), and listening to whispered wishes of children as he was the village Santa for over 30 years. A good man is gone but Always in Our Hearts. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre St., Shawville, Quebec on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. A Lion’s Club Service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Funeral to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Shawville on Saturday, April 30, 2016 for service at 11 a.m. Interment Village Cemetery. Donations to St. Paul’s Anglican Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
