Nécrologie de Donald Hodgins

Hodgins, Donald George May 31, 1933 – December 3, 2015 It is with deep sadness and a great sense of loss that we announce the passing of Donald “Donnie” George Hodgins in Palliative Care, Pontiac Community Hospital, Shawville, Quebec in his 83rd year. Donald will be spending his first Christmas in Heaven with God. Son of the late Morley and Edith (Caldwell) Hodgins. Dear brother of David and Sylvia Poisson-Hodgins. Vice-president of Morley Hodgins Inc. and grandson of R. G. Hodgins, founder of Hodgins Lumber Inc. with his sons Reilly A., Morley E. and Melvin V. Hodgins. Before he became ill, Donald loved to walk downtown to go to the post office where he would meet many friends and pick up the mail for special friends. As well, he enjoyed talking and having coffee with many people. Donnie had a special love for his dogs, especially his precious Lynda who passed away a short time ago. That was a very sad time for him. Donnie will be missed by many cousins and their families; both Caldwell and Hodgins. Everyone who would like to honour Donald’s memory may do so by donating to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation or St. Paul’s Restoration Fund. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
