First I would like to apologize for not being able to attend. I have not been well recently. It's only minor, but I didn't want anyone to catch it.
We are really sorry for your loss. Last time I saw Jean-Guy was at the Christmas family reunion last year. I was really surprised how spry he was. He seemed to have found new energy. I thought maybe he had found the fountain of youth. So this comes as a bit of a surprise. He was always a good Uncle but he seemed to become more of a great Uncle when he started to become ill. His genuine concern for everyone, he also had a way of making you feel that you were the most important person he was talking to. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

OTo the Marcotte family I am so sorry to hear of Jean-guy's passing .He was a very delightful and a very passionate man, who would take time out for people in need. if you needed to ask a quick question or an in depth question he always took the time to explain what you were asking . We will miss Jean Guy`s friendly smile, and gentle spirit here in the Day Medicine Unit. He was always such a lovely person, full of joy. He spoke very fondly of his beloved family, especially his little grand daughter Meagan and Makayla. He loved you girls so much, and I am sure he told you this often.

On ma annoncé le passage de Jean-Guy ce soir, mon coeur est enflé avec peine, mes yeux pleine de larme, malgré le sentiment qu'il soit enfin au repos. Un homme qui a connu la souffrance mais avais toujours le grand sourire a son visage. Il sera manquer mais j'espère qu'il puisse voir sur toi et la famille.
