Nécrologie de Manly Thomas Brown

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Manly Brown on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Shawville, Quebec at the age of 92 years. Manly passed peacefully, joining Dorothy, his devoted wife of 70 years.

Manly was the son of the late Clarence Brown and Dora Robinson, brother of the late Everett, predeceased by his brothers-in-law Eldon, Elmer, Donnie, Billy, Dawson, Maurice, and Merlin, and by his sisters-in-law Marjorie, Joan and Murielle. He is survived by his brother-in-law Lorne and his sister-in-law Elaine.

He was the loving father of Bill (Shirley), Marilyn (Armand), Wayne (Sheila) and Jim (Lynne). He was the beloved grandfather of Jodie, Jennifer, James, Stephanie, Alexander, and Cody, and great-grandfather of Yanick, Josh, Jay, Rilley, Brodey, Bentley, Peyton, Rozlyn and Jase.  He will be forever loved and missed by all, especially by grandson Cody.

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Tuesday, June 18 at 11 a.m.  Interment will follow in St. Andrew’s United Cemetery, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec.  Donations to the Campbell’s Bay Lions Club or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
