Nécrologie de John Wallace Souliere

Peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on December 27, 2023 at the age of 88 years, John Souliere, of Chapeau, Quebec.  Beloved husband for 65 years of Gail Giff.  Loving father of Tommy (Joanne), Richard (Linda) and Sherry (Willard).  Cherished grandfather of Melissa, Shane, Brett, Allison, Alexander, Amber (Evan), Jean-Paul (Jasmine) and Nicholas and great grandfather of Colby, Aiden, Keira, Jackson, Liam, Logan, Savannah and Kaulder.  Predeceased by grandchild, Zachary.  Dear brother of Harold (Ann) and Mervin (Mary) and predeceased by Pearl (late George), Reginald (late Nellie), Geraldine and Sidney (late Albina).  Son of the late Patrick and Josephine Souliere.  He is survived and will be missed by many nieces and nephews and friends.  Jack was active in many sports and played golf up to a few years ago.  He excelled in baseball, fastball and hockey and was known for his pitching prowess. 

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 95 rue St. Jacques, Chapeau, Quebec on Wednesday, January 3, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 to 10:30 a.m.  Funeral Mass will follow in St. Alphonsus Church at 11 a.m.  Interment Parish Cemetery.
