I miss you everyday dad. I really never thought I was going to be saying goodbye to you, my dreams were when you got to the point where you couldn’t look after yourself you’d come home with me and I’d take care of you like I promised. I sit here day to day wondering what if and how I could have made your last days more special. I was honored that I actually got to be by your side when they took tube out of you and have our last laughs and talk up a storm. I have comfort knowing you knew I was there. I have comfort that you got your wish that all family pull together at a time of need. And lastly I have comfort knowing that not a day went by in 18 years that you wouldn’t say I miss Ma I wish she was here. Your now at rest with the one and only woman you’ve ever loved and who has ever taken the best care of you. Rest in piece dad give mom a hug for us. Love you to the moon and back.

We always think we have more time. Theres nothing in this world i wouldn’t give to turn back the clocks. Families have fall outs and that’s inevitable. I just wish i didnt have to lose you before i could make things right. Its the guilt i will carry with me through the rest of my life. Stubbornness being the attribute you passed down to us all was our curse. There is so much i wish i could tell you , so much i wish you knew. Mainly the fact that i love you so much and that never wavered. I wish you knew that im sorry. Sorry i didnt make the time. Sorry i didnt have more time to make more memories with you , more time to make sure you knew you were loved. I will always cherish the fond memories i have with you. Like when you taught me how to properly do your infamous trucker wave. You got a real kick out of that. Or how when you would take us to the camp and we fell off the fourwheeler or flipped it you would be so scared of my mom finding out and not letting us go back up with you “ walk it off walk it off dont let your mom find out she will freak. “ you loved us being up there as much as we couldnt wait to go up with you. You had always insisted on walking me down the aisle some day you said even if you had to be wheeled down in a wheelchair you wouldn’t miss it. I will still hold you to it. I hope when that day comes you will be by my side. And ill make sure to save you a seat in the front . I will spend the rest of my life making up for my lost time by honouring you, making you proud. You were a good man Pop. I will forever cherish my time with you. Forever your pooper i will be. See you later Pop. Love you so much
