Nécrologie de Edgar Peever
It is with great sadness that the family of Edgar Peever announces his passing on October 19, 2023 in Pontiac Reception Centre, after a short illness. Edgar was a beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and valued friend. Born in Weirstead, Quebec he lived to a wonderful age of 92 years. Edgar was the son of Allan Peever and Victoria Sharpe and was the fourth child of nine. Edgar spent most of his adult life on the farm of his sister Ethel until 1989 when they moved to Shawville. Edgar worked hard doing what he loved. He was witty and loved to tease and always loved a good laugh. He went into the Centre Street private home in 2019 and was there until January 2023. He was happy wherever he was. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say. He is survived by his brothers Arnold (late Florence), Elwin (Marie) and James (Shirley) and many nieces and nephews. Edgar was predeceased by his sisters Ethel (late Osborne Nicholas & Ross Stewart), Katie (late Alex Murray), Marion (late William McTiernan), George (Esther) and Ruth (late Gary Cooke). Edgar fought to the very end and his family and friends will miss him more than words can say. May you enjoy some raisin pie with your mom and dad and your siblings in heaven as we all know how much you loved your raisin pie. Rest in peace Edgar.
