Nécrologie de Georgina "Jo" Farrell (nee Fletcher)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Shawville, Quebec on Monday, September 18, 2023 at the age of 93. Daughter of the late Reuben Fletcher and the late Queenie Belle Lusk. Beloved wife of the late John Farrell. Loving mother of Dixie, Laurie (Bert Fletcher), late Bruce (Susan), Peggy (Renato Romozzi), Alan (Sharon), Danny (Donna) and Randy. Georgina was an amazing and devoted grandma to all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and to her great great grandson. Predeceased by her cherished granddaughter Christena and by all of her brothers and sisters. She will be sadly missed by her stepbrother and stepsister as well as many nieces, nephews and her furry companion Black Bear.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses of the Pontiac Community Hospital for all the wonderful care she received and in making her final days comfortable. 

Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, October 12 in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Radford, Quebec at 2 p.m. Interment Portage Community Cemetery.
