Nécrologie de Ron Hill

It is with profound sadness that the family of Ron Hill announce his sudden passing following a tragic work accident on Sunday, September 10, 2023 in his 63^rd year.  Ron was a devoted father of his sons; Chris (Heather) and David (Jenn).  Proud grandfather of Daniel, Sawyer and Sierra who meant the world to him.  He leaves behind his father Allan “Bud”, his brothers; Mark, Shawn (Bonnie), Perry (Loida) and his sisters; Lynn (Louis), Colleen (Ross) and Donna (Steve).  Ron will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Predeceased by his mother Jeannette (nee Chevrier) who awaits him with open arms.

Ron was an extraordinary man.  He was kind, genuine and always willing to lend a hand. He took pleasure in the simple joys of life like strumming a little tune on his guitar or making you laugh by telling a funny joke.  He truly had the biggest heart, rivaled only in size by his very healthy appetite… Those who knew him well know he never turned down a home-cooked meal!

We wish we’d had a chance to say goodbye, but our memories of him bring us comfort during this difficult time.

Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
