RIP Uncle Ben. Will remember all the fun things we did when I stayed with Granny and Grandpa all the time and you came swimming with me and the times you would tell stories and I would go outside with you to go and feed the dog. So many good memories of an awesome uncle....I remember when he used to babysit us and gosh Guy and I were a handfull but one look from uncle Ben and we knew it was time to settle down...He often talked about his little dog Baboo and how Baboo wanted to be by his side at all times...Where Uncle Ben went Baboo was right by his side.....Many seen the grumpy side of Uncle Ben but I must say I always seen the side of him where he was always happy to see his family....I also remember Uncle Ben always generous and looking out for his siblings... R.I.P. Uncle Ben you will be truly missed. There will be another angel around the throne tonight.

RIP Uncle Ben. You will be missed dearly. I will cherish everything you told me about making gardens and planting things. The best was ripping up my parents front lawn to make one. It is difficult to imagine that there is no more “Uncle Ben” to check in on, grab a coffee with or just hang out and talk about the weather. As you all likely know, he was not a man of many words, so yes, I did most of the talking. For as long as I can remember, he was my roommate during all my adolescence. As I grew older it felt as though he was that older brother I never had, you know cranky at times and all that good stuff, but still shared a closeness / bond which will be greatly missed. I am sure now someone else will be getting that look at times from him, while at the same time feeling the need to know more about him.

I beat him in euchre which he enjoyed lol……and we have matching trucks. He was fun to be around and had a subtle but good sense of humour ….he will be missed……especially at the holiday dinners at Johanne’s house.

Ben was one of my favourite clients when I was hairdressing. I remember him as a gentle soul and a man who worked hard for all he had. He was a great volunteer in the community and a good friend to many. RIP gentle Ben. You will be missed by many. Wishing Ben’s family and friends peace and comfort at this terribly sad time.
