Nécrologie de Jeannette Gagnon

It’s with deep sadness to announce the passing of a special sister and aunt. Jeannette passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Hull Hospital with her family by her side following a courageous battle with cancer. 

She leaves behind her brothers Ronald (Marguerite), Deah (Paulette),  late Arlene and sister-in-law Theresa Gagnon.  Predeceased by her parents Joseph Gagnon, Cecile (Boisvert).  Brothers and sisters Aurele (Yvette), Valmor (Thérèse), Leonard, Arthur (Reina), Georgette (Maurice Beaubien) and Anita.

Jeannette was involved in her community especially in the church altar server and her dedication to the flowers will be missed, but will live on through her perennials.  She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and numerous lifelong friends.  Many will remember her by sense of humour and her jokes.

Special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Hull hospital, Shawville hospital, the nurses in day med, CLSC nurses for the excellent home care as well as all the drivers from Transport Action.  Deep gratitude goes out to all those who stopped by to check on her on daily basis.

Respecting Jeannette’s wishes cremation has taken. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 28 , 2023 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Waltham, Quebec at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation.
