Nécrologie de Donna Jill Woods

1961-2023

It is with deep regret and sadness that we mourn the passing of a cherished daughter and wonderful sister.  Donna passed away on March 21, 2023 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.  Predeceased by her father Kenneth Woods.  Left to mourn is her mother, Grace (nee Beattie) and brother Robert (Theresa & family) and loving companion Jack Fortier, his family and a long time friend of the family, Wilf.  She will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous lifelong friends and co-workers.  She loved all her barnyard animals, especially her horses.  She was very creative and a dedicated worker, also, a devoted caregiver to her loving mother. 

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2023 in Shawville Pentecostal Church at 2 p.m.  Family will receive condolences in the church from 1:15 p.m. - 2 p.m.  A reception will follow at the Anglican Church Hall.  Donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation or the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
