My thoughts & prayers are with Dale & Wendy's Family. So many memories of their grandparent Mr.& Mrs Ervin Crawford.
Ervin & my dad Lloyd Kensley were good friends.
When I was in grade school I would go out to the farm to visit. I was just a little younger than Dale. I loved to visit with Mrs Crawford & go to the barn to see & interact with all the different animals.
Beulah made the best homemade Bread you ever tasted. It was so crusty on the outside & so light & fluffy on the inside. "The boys" would eat it as fast as she could make it.
I remember the bread would be Hot out of the oven & the boys would butter it & put brown sugar on it & roll it up like a jelly toll & eat it.
Leonard was there a lot he loved the farm & was so gentle & kind.
Myles worked for my father for many years in my dad's heavy equipment business & snow plowing in the winter time.
Dad's garage was in the building that is now the Litchfield garage on hwy #148.
Myles really liked my dad & Myles named one of his children Lloyd after my dad.
Jimmy &Dale loved the farm & were involved in all aspects of running the farm.
They worked long & hard hours but loved every minute.
Dale loved the animals & was always involved in the 4H & showing at fairs etc.
Wendy was a good partner for Dale, Wendy loved farming & was so outgoing & energetic, They complemented & supported each other in every way. They were a great & loving couple.
Dale & Wendy & your Grandparents will be happy to know their passion for farming will continue to be left in good & loving hands,

A sad day. Wendy and Dale will truly be missed . Fond memories of visiting them on their farm. Always enjoyed calls and talking with them. Jacks smile and laughter during our story telling of memories made everyone smile.

It was back in the early 80’s when I met Dale & Wendy at Bonnie Elm Farms. I had the good fortune of meeting both Leonard and Beulah as well, at different places but during that same era. We knew Jim through the family connection between Noella and Therese.
