Nécrologie de Joan Hannaberry

Peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Quebec, on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 after a battle with various illnesses, at the age of 86 years.  Retired from Consolidated-Bathurst and native of Maryland, Quebec.  Beloved Great Aunt, Aunt, and a TRUE friend to many.  The phone company (calls incoming and outgoing from Quyon) and Canada Post (cards and letters), will both notice a drop in volume.  Predeceased by siblings Herb (late Lou), Mildred (late John Cain), Phil, Art, Edwin, Inez, Rita (late Merlin McKee), Gerald and Cecil (late Kathleen). 

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  and on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 12 – 1:30 p.m. followed by a  Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward’s Church, 36 Aylmer Rd, Bristol, Quebec at 2 p.m.  Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  The remaining family thanks the many great folks from the CLSC home care program and the Doctors and Nurses at the Pontiac Community Hospital.  Please continue to help others, as you have.
