Nécrologie de Evelyn McCredie (nee Duff)

Peacefully in the hospital in Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the age of 100 years. Daughter of the late John B. Duff and the late Annie Taber. Beloved wife of the late Ronald McCredie and loving mother of the late John Douglas. Predeceased by her dear sister Margaret Young and brother Donald Duff. Survived by her sisters-in-law Evelyn Duff and Corraine McCredie, and predeceased by brother-in-law Bob and Hewitt McCredie. Evelyn will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families; Hugh, Janice (John), Jane (Doug), Andrew (Sarah), Brent (Krista), Paul, Margo (John), Greg and the late John Duff. Also, her special extended family, The Morrisons; Michael, Peter, Sheldon, Lyne and their families.

Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec, Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 12 to 2 p.m., followed by a Chapel Service at 2 p.m.  A reception will take place in the funeral home.  Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.  Donations to the Friends of St. Joseph’s Manor or the Shawville United Church would be appreciated.
