Mes sincères condoléances à Anne, Trevor, Sarah, tous les petits-enfants, les proches de Ken et à toute la grande famille Morin.
Avoir voyagé avec Ken tous les jours pendant plusieurs années a été une chance inouïe de côtoyer un petit peu l'une des personnes les plus inoubliables qui soit. Il aimait sincèrement sa famille et ses proches et avait souvent de belles anecdotes à
raconter sur vous tous incluant sur Brie. Je n'oublierai jamais la fierté dans ses paroles, sa voix quand il parlait de Anne et de ses trois enfants. Sa tristesse à la perte de Wade mais sa joie à la naissance de ses petites enfants ... Soyez réconfortés en sachant qu'il est à nouveau avec ses chers disparus et qu'il veille sur vous tous.

Ken Hampel was one of the finest gentlemen that I had the pleasure to know in my lifetime. The Hampel house always felt like a 2nd home.
He will be missed as a friend and most of all as a husband and father.

My thoughts and prayers will be with you as you begin to live without dearest Ken beside you.
I savour many happy memories of Andre and I with "Ken and Anne", especially when our children were young. It is amazing to think that the 1977 purchase of a van, customized by Ken of course, would result in a friendship lasting more than forty years. From camping in Virginia to backyard barbecues, there were happy times, difficult times and tragic times. The cherished connection was always there even though we saw each other less frequently in our later years. It was a privilege to have had this kind and gentle man as our friend, and I continue to value his amazing wife as my dear friend.

To Anne, Trevor, Sarah and family...We have no great words to express how sad we are to hear of Ken's passing. He was a great work buddy and soul brother to me (Dick) and a true and loyal friend . Along with the antics five days a week at Canmet, we (Dick & Liz), along with our children, (Tina & David) remember the wonderful fun times when we would gather togther on vacation before heading back into the 'real world'. I'll always remember Ken showing up anytime day or night (usually night) with Bree by his side to give a ride to Sarah and her friends.
