Nécrologie de Denise Hodgins (nee Berard)

Denise passed away peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Quebec, with family by her side on Monday, September 12, 2022 in her 71st year.  Dear mother of Elroy (Tammie), Bruce (Caroline), Kris (Kayla).  Predeceased by her husband Sydney, her son Christopher, her parents Leo-Paul Bérard and Murielle Newberry, brother Gilbert and sister Marguerite.  Survived by her siblings; Raymond, Jeanne d’Arc (Roy), Bernadette, Mario (Lisa) and Nicole (Peter).  Beloved Grandmother of Joshua (Liana), Nicholas, Audrey, Sheyann, Jaycie, Charlotte, Leo, Lincoln.  Great Grandmother of Finley and Mac.  She will be missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and especially her furry companion Chico.  Denise loved Bingo and scratch tickets but most of all her family.  She always put her family first.  Special thanks go out to Dr. Croteau and the staff at the Shawville Hospital, General Hospital and Palliative Care Unit.  We appreciate all you did.

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Funeral will follow  in the Chapel at 1 p.m.  Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.  Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation - Oncology or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
