Nécrologie de Eileen Morin (nee McGee)

Eileen was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  Surrounded by her family, Eileen left this world peacefully on April 7, 2022 in her 95^th year.  Mom was a pillar of strength and the glue that kept us together.  Her devotion to family and friends extended into the community as a dedicated member of the Pontiac Lionettes for 36 years and a 70 year member of the Catholic Women’s League of St. John the Evangelist, Campbell’s Bay.  Precious mother of Emile (Jeannine Beauregard), Diane (late Pat Dillon), Connie (Peter Christie) and Lorraine.  Cherished grandmother to the late Daniel Morin, Jason Morin, Edward Christie (Staci), Graeme Christie (Mandy) and Kourtney Morin (Jon Clarke).  Special Granny to Adam, Sean, Alex, Brielle and Jack.  She is predeceased by Lionel, her loving husband of 58 years; her parents John McGee and Rose Sloan; sisters Rita (late Joe Wrinn), Phyllis (late Delbert Hearty) and brothers D’Arcy (late Bernadette Morin), Leo (late Bertha Corriveau), Edwin (Rita Kluke) and Donald (Rita Stoppa).

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 13 at 11 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec.  Interment  Parish Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. John the Evangelist Cemetery Fund, St. John the Evangelist Parish Fund or Campbell’s Bay/Litchfield Fire Dept.
