My sincere condolences to all of you! I have started so many times to write a message but never could find the right words. You have great memories to hold close to your hearts. It is difficult I know and will be for a long time.
My memories are being bridesmaid at their wedding, visiting their apartment in Ottawa, their moving to the farm and then to the Bay. My own wedding when he was our best man.
The last memory was last August when we took Gerald back for visit. Robert setting up that rhamp in order for Gerald to get into see your dad.
On our way home Gerald said several times, “ I wonder when we’ll get back for another visit?” Little did we know both be gone from this world in such a short time.

Deepest sympathy to all of Delbert's children and Family. We were shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I have been retired from St. Joseph's Manor for over 2 years now but I used to deliver Meals on Wheels and we would have great chats especially during hockey playoffs or olympics. Was so proud of his children. Some times he would not get a meal on Friday which was usually fish as he knew Robert would be having a fish fry that day or weekend. Such a great man and one of the few gentlemen left. He is now reunited with Phyllis. Great memories will sustain you in these dark days. God speed Delbert.

I have so many great memories of Uncle Delbert. He was always kidding around with my brother and I as young kids. He took my wife Julie and myself for a tour of the Pontiac. We drove for several hours that day learning the history of our family and The Pontiac. I will always have fond memories of going up to Campbell's Bay in the summer and when we arrived the first place we'd go was Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Delbert's place. May you rest in peace Uncle Delbert. We'll miss you!
