It was always a pleasure to see Shirley at the Bank of Montreal in Quyon during the 20 years I visited the bank on behalf of the Onslow Elementary School. Shirley had a way about her that was direct, but humorous, and you always came away smiling. More recently, I was pleasantly but sadly surprised to see Shirley on a regular basis when visiting my Mom at the 2nd floor long term care in the Shawville hospital. She always knew where she was at and was honest and vocal with her situation. I was glad to see the recognition in her eyes as she seemed happy to see the same in mine. Shirley was a good and strong lady - and I'm sure her family was always very proud of her during the happy as well as difficult times. You will be missed, Shirley. Happy travels. Janie Weatherall
