Where do I start? Cindy was not only an amazing wife, mother and friend, she was a kind, strong, intelligent, talented and beautiful woman. So many memories! Cindy was my go to person when it came to canning and preserving, her kitchen was always full of wonderful smells, cookies, cakes, jams, pickles, her garden always bountiful, her apple and pear trees that she shared with many. Phillip claims no one could make a hot cup of tea like Cindy. I marveled at her ability to work all day, make and deliver meals to the men and run a household.
I cherish the conversations over the years, the road trips, the giggles and especially her friendship. I am witness to her strength and determination over the past year, we know not why cancer happens but Cindy gave it a hell of a fight. I know that Cindy touched so many people and that she will be missed but also that she continues to live in our hearts forever.
