Jean-Claude (Buck) had a passion for cars and trucks. He was happiest when he had one of each. This was one of his happy moments.

Buck was a true gentleman and a very classy guy.. He was one of the nicest and kindest people I've ever met. Long ago when we were young we had great times in Lakeview Terrace. Backyard BB-Qs that went on forever. The Lost Summer, which is a somewhat vague but wonderful memory..
There was the trio of Jean-Claude, Mike Perrier and Tom MacDonald. Now they have all passed. But when they lived, they really lived.
Still remember when four of us moved a big motorcycle into a basement.. Buck ended up holding the whole thing by himself to stop it from crashing down the stairs..
I learned a lot from Jean-Claude about being considerate. He was someone you could trust.. Always fun to be around. And he played a good game of snooker. Very smooth.
He'll be missed.

Thanks for sharing your memories, Bob. Though I never met you, Buck used to talk about visits to your beautiful place. At the time you had two Irish Wolfhounds. You took them in your car with you, a little Austin Mini I think. He said it was quite a sight seeing you squashed in the little car with your two huge dogs. He was so impressed with those dogs. Yes, he was a very kind person and he loved animals.

Thank you, Ted. I remember one time when you came to visit Buck. It was winter, late in the evening, and the three of us piled into Buck’s pick-up truck and drove to feed my horses. We were all loudly singing along to a Ray Stevens song “Ned [the] Nostril”. It was cold, the heater in the truck didn’t work, and I looked at you and your nose was so red from the cold. So the words to the song got changed to “Ted the Nostril” – we teased you all night. We had many good times.
