Nécrologie de Helen Walls (nee Firerobin)

Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec in her 98th year.  Predeceased by her husband Heman Walls (1955) and her daughter Lorna.  Loving mother of Janet (the late Denis Lafleur). Helen will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Michael Trudeau, Wendy Trudeau (Duane Hicks), Jason Lafleur (Julie-Anne Poirier), Justin Lafleur (Chelsey Pharand) and her great granddaughter Mackenzie Lafleur.  She is survived by her sister Viola (the late Reinhold Bretzlaff), her brother-in-law Elden Zimmerling and her sister-in-law’s Hazel Sparling and Louise Lafleur.  She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.  Helen was predeceased by her parents August Firerobin and Florence Larose, her sisters Mary, Myrtle, Alma, her brothers Arvine, Eddie and Gerald. A special thank you to the staff for their care, compassion and patience given during my Mother’s time at the Pontiac Reception Center.  A private graveside service will take place at a later date.  Donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
