Nécrologie de Helene Laporte

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helene Laporte on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Pontiac Community Hospital, Shawville, Quebec at the age of 69. Cherished daughter of Lionel Laporte and the late Florence Mousseau. Loving sister of Claudette, Linda (Thomas Donnelly), Brian (Lyn), Vivianne (Fern Gravelle), Bobby (Michelle) and John (Diane). She is survived by a stepsister Sylvie (Gilles Mousseau) and a stepbrother Jeannot Bertrand.  Predeceased by her sister Nicole (Jean Ippersiel). Helen will be sadly missed by a family friend Jeanine Francoeur. Special aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Peter Talko and the nursing staff of the Shawville Hospital.  Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 195 Principale Street, Fort-Coulonge, Quebec on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. followed by her Funeral Mass in église St-Pierre, Fort-Coulonge, Quebec at 2 p.m. Interment St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
