I remember when Ronnie started working for my old man (Terry Millar at Millar’s in Cobden). I remember it because I started working summers there soon after in between university years. Ron was amazing to me as I learned the ropes. He was a veteran of the industry and had the pedigree to go along with it. An incredible mentor and quiet professional, I’ll always treasure our time working together in the warehouse and look back on it with pride. May he Rest In Peace and to his family: my sincere condolences.

The highest compliment I can pay to Gino is that he was a real Shawville guy. I’m very proud to say that I considered Gino a friend and a wonderful person to be around. Dear Val and family, so sorry to hear about Ronnie's quick battle with cancer. I'm sure it's still a shock to all. We were very fortunate to see him (at a distance) a few wks ago.
