“There are some who bring a light to this world so great that, even when they have gone, the light remains.”
It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Robert Philippe Chartrand at the age of 30. Robert was a cherished father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, colleague, and friend.
Robert was a devoted father and will live on through his beautiful daughter Amelia Chartrand. He will be forever loved by his parents; Paul and Lorraine Chartrand (née Adam) & his Pépère Léo Chartrand. He is predeceased by his Mémère Jacqueline Chartrand (née Raymond) and his grandparents Alfred and Jean Adam (née Keon). Memories of Robert will be held dear by his siblings; Andrea (Billy Turner), Jean-Marc (Janna DesRoches), Hélène (Richard Martin), Pierre (Tiffany Gagnon), Gisèle (Ryan O’Neill) and his nieces and nephews; Anthony, Gregory, Charlotte & Wilson Turner; Carson, Blake, Alice & Robyn O’Neill and Annie Martin. Remembered fondly by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Robert will forever hold a special place in the hearts of the Romain family. Amelia’s mother Sarah Romain; her great-grandmother Noranda Marion; her great-grandparents Paul and Sally Romain; her nannie Julie Romain (Reid Schimmens, son Brayden); her aunts, Alyssa (Cory Ybarra), Emma (Aime Allard) and cousins Wyatt, Colton & Easton Allard and many aunts and uncles.
Robert leaves behind countless wonderful friends. To his childhood chums, schoolmates, teammates, and colleagues; Robert considered you all his best bud. Always smiling, always there to brighten your day. His friends were his family and his family, his friends.
