Nécrologie de Eleanor Zacharias (nee Pasch)

Eleanor passed away after a 4 year battle with cancer on July 13, 2020 in hospital, Shawville, Quebec. Born on July 2, 1935 in Ladysmith, Eleanor married Percy Zacharias in May 1955. Beloved mother of Donna (Vital St. Aubin), Rob (Linda Blaskie) and Dale (Lisa Rea). Loving grandmother of Evelyn and Frank (Miranda), Emma, Martha and Thomas. Beloved great grandmother of Liam, Eleanor, Eli, Rowan and Sawyer. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Eleanor had a long and happy life farming, gardening, sewing and baking. She was known as a wonderful cook and no one left her place hungry. Over the years she was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church including the Ladies Auxiliary, the choir a member of the church council and a key person of the committees that organized the Church dinners. A private funeral service will be held in Zion Lutheran Church. Donations to the Zion Lutheran Church or the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Oncology Dept would be appreciated by the family.
