Roger was a great friend and student of Roy and Craig. We all had great times together at the family farm in Richmond, whether it was doing some work, sharing a meal or partying at the farm with anyone who stopped by. Such a warm individual and skilled tradesman. Roy was always so proud of him. I am sure there was quite a welcoming committee at those "Pearly Gates " when word came that Roger was on his way. Love to all his family.

When I was little, Roger was a friend and employee of my Dad's. Roger was always around. Roger taught me how to tie my shoes on a step at Dwyer Hill Farm. I had the opportunity to work with Roger when I was older and I am still struck by how he was the same. Happy, enjoyed life, but not afraid to take on a challenge or defend someone who needed help. My condolences to Roger's family. I look forward to sharing memories.

Roger was a craftsman through and through. His level of integrity in his work will outlive him in all the beautiful creations he has left us. I learned about Roger from a friend about 6 years ago when I needed some duct-work but, by the time Roger had left the job site a few months later he had done all the fine finishing including 2 elaborate custom closet interiors. We became friends and would often meet for breakfast before a work day. He was so honest, so talented, always talking about family, especially his cherished daughter who he loved and was so proud of. I will miss Roger the person, Roger the craftsman and more than that, Roger my friend.

Great guy with an infectious smile! I will always remember the parking lot chats with pints after hockey, and how we used to joke with each other about how we lived in the same town and never saw each other unless it was at hockey or at the Fair. RIP Roger. You will be missed. My deepest condolences to Roger's family and friends.

Great guy on and off the ice, always a big smile and loved to chat over parking lot pints. He will be missed by the lads around the rink and the annual golf tourney. My sincere condolences to Roger's family and dearest friends. RIP Rog, keep your stick on the ice pal!

I became Roger's hockey driving buddy when he came back from up north. Whether it was winter or summer hockey or our many hockey parties and golf tournaments etc., Roger was the life of the event. It was never a dull moment with Roger around. A great pal, who would do anything for you. Gone way too soon. My condolences to the Bedard family and it was a pleasure to have known Roger for as long as I did.

Roger has been a huge part of our Saturday hockey league, both winter and summer, for as long as I can remember. Never without a smile, a sly grin or a good word. He will be missed by all. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

I've known Roger since he was a student at SCHS. I was his bus driver. Over the past 10 years I've met him several times and was always greeted with a smile, a hug and a nice chat. A great guy, taken to soon. Thinking of the family while they adjust to their loss.

If Roger was around it was a guarantee that it was going to a good time. On the lake, in the kitchen or around the card table, time with Roger was always a good time. Even when he and Tricky Ricky had a marital dispute playing euchre. My condolences go to the family, those by blood and those that Roger "adopted" in his life's travels. I will miss ya bud and there will never be another gem like you. Thank you for being of friend to me, my wife and my kids.

Roger was a great cousin and friend. One memory is of the family reunion at Manitou Beach. Roger and various family members stayed up all night around the fire exchanging stories and laughs. When it came time for morning coffee he was over at the centre helping get breakfast ready for the masses! Great memories of a wonderful man.
