Deepest condolences to Mary's family and Ray, I was aware much earlier of Mary's passing but did not view this website until today. It was always great to see Mary and Ray on our summer holiday visits up to the Sheenboro area. Mary was a great person, warm, caring and always smiling and in great spirits, the world will miss her and is in need of more like her. All the McCrea's here in Ohio mourn her passing.

Raymond and family, please accept my condolences on Mary Ellen's passing. I think back fondly to the 1970s when she worked for Zurich Life in Ottawa and I was an agent in Renfrew. I often visited the Ottawa office on Carling Avenue and Mary Ellen and Cleo were always a delightful duo to meet up with. Back in the day, we all chatted frequently about mutual friends up here in the Valley. Our paths hadn't crossed for many years, but that camaraderie remains in my heart. I am so sorry for your loss.

REGARDING Celebration of Life for Mary Ellen McLeese
As you know the Cemetery Service for Mary Ellen will be held on May 2nd, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at the McLeese Cemetery on the Kerr Line in Forester Falls, near the farm house - 815 Kerr Line, Forester Falls. All are welcome to attend.
Also, the Celebration of Life will be held after the cemetery service in Mary’s honour at the Legion in Renfrew. It is located at 30 Raglan Street, South.
Please RSVP your name to kgilvary1@hotmail.com by the 27th of April, 2020 if attending in order to prepare for the Celebration of Life reception.

Mary, you will always be remembered in our thoughts and in our prayers. You had a steel trap memory, loved life and were a gentle and calm soul. I will never forget the look of joy on your face seeing my photos I gave you of your family’s homestead community, the McLeese Lake settlement, in British Columbia.
