Nécrologie de Mary Brouse (nee Peeples)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Brouse (nee Peeples) on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the age of 98. She was the beloved wife of 46 years to Robert Brouse. Mary was predeceased by her parents Chester and Nelly Peeples, her first husband George Stephens, her second husband William Johnston and her son Calvin Johnston. She is survived by her sons John (Karen) Stephens, Glen (Celine) Stephens, Alvin (Debbie) Johnston, Ray (Joanne) Johnston, her brother Redford Peeples as well as her cherished 10 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. Mary’s passion for life, her love for her family and her precious card games will always be remembered. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 1040 Clarendon Street, Quyon, Quebec on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Service to follow at 11 a.m. in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 530 Main Street, Shawville, Quebec on Thursday, January 16, 2020. A luncheon will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 26 John Street, Quyon, Quebec following the service. Spring interment. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Long Term Care would be greatly appreciated by the family. Thank you to the staff at the Long Term Care Unit in the Shawville Hospital for the great care they gave Mary.
