Cher Bert et famille,
Je cherche mes mots pour exprimer ma tristesse. Claudette fût pour moi une belle example de ce quoi le CWL représente: la gentillesse, l'amour et la joie. Toujours souriante, se sourire est gravé dans mon cœur.

To the Ryan and Bois families:
I was shocked to see the obituary for Claudette today. She was such a lovely lady. Claudette often came into my boutique (Boutique Gwendoline) and she was so supportive and complimentary to the lines of clothing I had and to me. I considered her a very special lady and friend. I always looked forward to seeing her smiling face and it always made my day to see her.
I will miss her very much as I am sure you all will. My deepest sympathy goes to you all. I know you will miss her so much.

I am so sorry to hear about Claudette's passing. When I was growing up, I was at Ryan's home frequently. I remember always being greeted with a smile and a hug. The home always felt like another home to me, full of love. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

It is with great sorrow that we extend our sympathy to Bert and family on the sudden death of Claudette.
St.Ann's Parish Catholic Women's League Members will all lovingly remember Claudette as a friend,a volunteer,a kind gentle,compassionate and hard working woman who shared her talents,her loving home and generosity with all of us.We had many memorable CWL Summer Garden Parties at the beautiful Ryan Cottage on the Ottawa River.She will be sorely missed by her Sisters in the League and community members fortunate to have known her.
Rest in Peace my dear Sister in the League. Seeing your empty pew at St.Ann's Church on Sunday's,will be a constant reminder that you are now in your Heavenly Home and we will meet again.
