Nécrologie de Neil Alfred Farrell

Peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Quebec surrounded by his family, at the age of 65 years. Loving father of Dawn and Bert. Cherished Poppa of Jacob, Xander and Bentley. Predeceased by his parents, Red and Beth Farrell. Survived by his siblings, Ken “Sam” (Judy), Darlene (Jack Murdock) and Barb (Dwight Tanguay). Neil will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Neil was a very active community member who served as union president at Haley Industries. He was also involved in council, the RA, the cemetery, and Fire Department. He was also active in his local church, where he served as church warde. Donations to the Portage du Fort Cemetery are gratefully accepted. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Portage Ball Field, Portage-du-Fort, Quebec at 2:00 p.m.  Please take into consideration that Covid-19 restrictions will be in place.  Limited seating is available, feel free to bring your lawn chair so that family and friends may share wonderful memories of Neil in a safe manner.
