Nécrologie de Ada Joyce Dods (nee Horner)

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom Ada on Thursday, July 11^th, 2019. Predeceased by her loving husband Clayton Dods and her mother Jessie Horner. Survived by her daughter Elaine Collins (Vaughn) and her daughters Jessica and Stephanie and their families, Marly Freer (Doug) and her sons Tim and Ryan Judd and their families, David (Lin) and his sons Curtis and Derek and their families and ten great grandchildren.  Also survived by brother-in-law Leslie Dods and sister-in-law Judy Dods and nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by son-in-law Peter Judd, brother and sister-in-laws Edgar and Isobel Dods, Joy Dods, Donald and Mayfred Dods, Dalton Dods, Joyce Dods and nephews Richard Dods and Terry Dods.

Ada was a long time member of the choir of the Shawville United Church and an avid volunteer in the Thrift Shop of the church for 42 years.

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in Shawville United Church on Monday, July 15 at 1 p.m. Interment Radford Cemetery.  Donations to the Shawville United Church Choir would be greatly appreciated.  The family would like to sincerely thank the medical staff at the Pontiac Community Hospital and Mom's friends Nora Duncan, Nancy Arnotis, Jeannie Judd and extra special gratitude to Jessica Dixon--Mom's PSW Angel.
