It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David “Drip” Draper, after a short but courageous battle with cancer on June 15, 2019 at the age of 57 years. Beloved son of Barry and Mary Lou (nee Strutt).  Cherished father of Elizabeth, Chrissy and Ashley (Tim Chevalier).  Loving Grandpa Dave to Nathan, Olivia and Hendrix.  Survived by sisters Sharon (Mike Tousignant) and Margo (Bernard Boulay) and predeceased by sister Elizabeth.  Loving uncle to Alex and Stephanie.  David will be missed by many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins but especially by his best friend and mother of his children, Terry-Lyn Hodgins.  He will also be sadly missed by Buddy, his faithful sidekick.  Dave was an avid curler and golfer for many years.  He enjoyed every minute at “the camp” with the boys and was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs fan.  He never missed a game unless there was a grandchild being born. 

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 until service time at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.  Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Oncology dept would be appreciated.
