Keon, Paul Joseph: born at Chapeau Hospital on November 25, 1955; passed away peacefully at Pontiac Community Hospital on February 20, 2019 at the age of 63. Beloved son of the late Dr. Harold Keon and the late Nora (Murphy) Keon and big brother to the late Mike Keon. Cherished brother to Catherine (Randy Godin), Margaret, Mary Anne (Andre Vaillancourt), Christine (Peter Adam), Lorie (Brian Leahey) and Patty (Sean Sullivan). Fun-loving uncle to the many nieces and nephews of the Koepsel, Conroy, Vaillancourt, Adam, Leahey and Rebis families, and indulgent great-uncle to their growing families. Paul said he was fortunate to be blessed with the loving support and steadfast companionship of many dear friends. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 56 St. Jacques Street, Chapeau, Quebec on Friday, February 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 23, 2019 at St. Alphonsus Church, Chapeau, Quebec at 10:30 a.m. In Paul’s memory, donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Pontiac Community Hospital, Shawville, Quebec or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
