Passed away peacefully surrounded by his cherished family at the Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the age of 97 years old. Son of the late Frank Blaskie and the late Lucy Adamchick. Loving husband of 67 amazing years to Theresa Kelly. Dear father of James (Darlene), Robert, Debra, Barry (Brenda). Special grandfather of James Jr., Kyle, Terri-Lyn, Clayton, Collin, Samantha, Brandon, Brooke and Brody. Predeceased by his siblings John, Peter, Isidore, Theo, Joe, Martin, Katherine and Lucy. Paul will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Otter Lake, Quebec on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment in the spring.
