Passed away in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Walter Gibson and of the late Birdie Braden. Beloved husband of Aline Belland. Loving father of Normand (Tammy) and Jason. Cherished grandfather of Gavin. Dear brother of Clifford (Véronique), Shirley, Dorothy (Gabriel Brazeau) and Beverly (Bill Alec).  Dear brother-in-law of Velma (Emery Leach), Lionel (Pearl Belland) and Cecile (Harvey Smith).  Predeceased by his brother Bobby, brother-in-law Paul and Wesley, sister-in-law Pierrette, Ella and Blanche.  Norman will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.  followed by Liturgy of the Word in the funeral home chapel. Private interment St. John’s the Evangelist Cemetery, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec.
