Nécrologie de Marjorie Pirie (nee Roy)

Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in hospital, Shawville, Quebec.  Born August 5, 1934 Marjorie was the daughter of Gordon and Verna (Milks) Roy. Predeceased by husband Ervin Pirie in 1965, Marjorie was the mother of Dwayne (Debbie), the late Dennis (Marilyn Gibeault) and the late Gail Pirie. After Ervin’s passing in 1965, Marjorie worked hard to raise her three children. A few later, she met Harry Foster and they were together until Harry’s passing in 2012. Marjorie was the first born of six children. She is survived by sister Doreen Chabot (late Ronald), Dan, Heather (Roger St. Aubin) and predeceased by brother Ellie and Sister Lanie (Wilf Koble). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Amanda, Mike, Dylan, Austin, Angela, Shannon, Jessica, Danielle, Derek and Crystal. She will be missed by nieces, nephews and a large extended family. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
