Joan and Rheal were good friends with my mother and father, Aileen and Charlie Young, who lived in Bryson at the time. My mother shared many good times and much laughter with Joan over many years. (and loved her baking and Rheal's cooking)! My family send our deepest condolences to the family at your great loss. It is comforting that Joan was surrounded by lots of love. God bless.

Ernie (Chico) and I unfortunately just received word late Friday evening of your mom's passing as we would have wanted to respectfully attend her service.
Mom Sicard was so very special and dearly loved. She will be truly missed.

My sincere condolences to the whole family. Joan was a Bryson treasure and will always be remembered that way by so many of us. Everyone says they have the best Aunt on earth but I just can't be convinced that there was a better one than our Auntie Joan! She set the bar very high with her kindness, generosity and unconditional love for her family and friends. I will remember her as a woman of great wisdom and spirit with a heart of pure gold.
Many great times were had by all at the Sicard home simply because Auntie Joan knew how to throw the best parties – especially the St. Paddy's Day shindigs! She was ‘the hostess with the mostest’ and the life of every party, always making sure everyone had plenty of food, drink and entertainment!
She will be missed by everyone who knew her, especially her family. Rest in Peace Auntie Joan. We love you.
